Last updated: 22nd July 2026

1. Introduction

Welcome to Homeland Stay. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information.

2. Information We Collect

  • Name, contact details, and payment information for bookings.
  • Guest preferences and special requests.
  • Technical data such as IP addresses and cookies for analytics.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected data to process bookings and payments, communicate updates, offers, and reservation details, improve website functionality, and ensure legal compliance.

4. Data Sharing & Security

We do not sell or rent your information to third parties. Data sharing occurs only with trusted payment and booking service providers.

5. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use cookies to enhance website performance and provide personalized experiences.

6. Third-Party Links

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of external websites linked from our site.

7. Your Rights & Choices

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data, and opt out of marketing communications at any time.

8. Security & Surveillance System

CCTV cameras operate in public/open-area checkpoints and community entry points only — no surveillance cameras are placed inside the residence or within guest rooms. Please do not tamper with or damage the cameras.

House Rules & Guest Guidelines

By proceeding with your reservation, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to adhere to these guidelines throughout your stay.

9. Check-in & Check-out

Standard check-in is 1:00 PM and check-out is 10:00 AM. If you need to check in earlier or check out later, let us know in advance — we'll try to accommodate based on availability, and additional charges may apply.

10. Identification Requirements

All guests must provide valid ID proof at the time of booking and check-in.

  • Foreign nationals: passport and visa.
  • Indian residents: photo ID with address proof — Aadhaar Card, Election Card, or Passport. PAN Card, Driving License, and company/government ID cards are not accepted.

11. Guest Conduct & Quiet Hours

We expect guests to behave respectfully and courteously toward neighbors and the property owner/caretaker.

  • Quiet hours: 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
  • Unmarried couples/local persons are not permitted on the premises.
  • Parties, events, gatherings, business meetings, or commercial activities are not permitted.
  • Visitors may not stay overnight; day visitors can use the corridor seating area (7:00 AM – 10:00 PM).
  • Alcohol and other prohibited items are not allowed.

The property owner/caretaker reserves the right to refuse further hospitality to any guest who violates these rules or causes trouble.

12. Additional Guests & Visitors

Only the guests named on the booking may stay overnight — additional persons may not occupy rooms or sleep on the premises without prior written approval from the host. Daytime visitors are not allowed inside rooms; they may sit and meet in the guest seating area at the entry balcony (7:00 AM – 10:00 PM).

If an additional guest stays overnight without permission, we'll discontinue the booking and ask the guest to vacate. If a stay is required, a written request (WhatsApp or email) from the main booking person is needed — we may allow it with additional charges or decline. If approved, photo ID of the additional guest is required at check-in and check-out, and the main booking person is responsible for their conduct and any damage they cause.

Failure to notify us, or attempts to hide an additional visitor, may result in immediate termination of the booking, forfeiture of any deposit, additional charges, and — if required — a complaint to the local police authority. We don't offer complimentary accommodation for drivers, helpers, or domestic staff; if they stay within the premises they're treated as additional guests with standard charges, and a valid photo ID is mandatory at check-in.

13. Access & Smart Keys

No entry is permitted, even for registered guests, after 11:00 PM — if you'll arrive later, inform the caretaker in advance. On arrival you'll receive:

  • A small black smart card, used to unlock the main door.
  • A large white smart card, which activates the electricity supply.
  • A tracking key ring for both cards, to prevent loss or misplacement.

A replacement fee of ₹2,000 applies if a smart key is lost or damaged. When you go out, you may carry all three cards with you or store them in the lock box on the first floor, opposite the staircase entrance, secured with a mechanical code.

14. Utilities & Energy Use

Please use electricity and water judiciously. Don't leave lights, AC, or taps on when away — we may power off the main supply and charge for misuse. Keep doors and windows closed while running the air conditioning; leaving them open is a violation of house rules and may result in a penalty or termination of your stay. You're liable for the full repair or replacement cost of any electric/electronic item you misuse or damage.

15. Cleanliness & Housekeeping

Please dispose of litter/waste in the provided bag or drum — we offer complimentary daily garbage pickup around 8:00 AM from the staircase entry point. A free daily cleaning service (brooming, mopping, toilet & bathroom) runs 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM subject to your permission; requests outside these hours depend on staff availability and may incur a charge.

Bath towels and hand napkins are provided at each new check-in and changed every 7 days for extended stays. Bed sheets, pillow covers, blankets, and kitchen cloths are changed for each new stay and refreshed every 7 days for longer stays. Changes requested before the scheduled interval carry an additional cost.

16. Food Policy

We are a vegetarian-friendly homestay. You may cook or order vegetarian food on the premises — egg preparations are also allowed. Non-vegetarian food is strictly prohibited and may not be cooked or brought in from outside.

17. Furniture, Property Care & Inventory

Please don't shift or rearrange furniture, or make changes to the property, without permission — you're responsible for the repair or replacement cost of any damage you cause. Items such as pillows, blankets, towels, utensils, and electronics must stay on the property; we'll report any violation to the booking agent and the local police station.

18. Liability

We are not liable for any loss or damage to your belongings for any cause whatsoever — please keep your valuables safe and secure. We do not provide insurance or compensation for accidents or injuries occurring on the premises.

19. Feedback & Complaints

Please let us know promptly about any technical problems or complaints so we can resolve them during your stay. If you notify us late or after check-out, we may not be able to address the issue or offer a refund or discount.

20. Jurisdiction & Acknowledgement

Any dispute or legal matter arising from your booking or stay is subject to the jurisdiction of Ahmedabad only. "The Homeland Stay" and "Homeland Stay" refer to the same property, and these rules apply equally to both names.

By confirming your booking at Homeland Stay, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these house rules and agree to follow them strictly. If you have any questions before booking, please contact us — we appreciate your cooperation and respect for our homestay.
