It Started with a Vision
Welcome to Homeland Stay. Our story began with a simple observation: travelers coming to Ahmedabad often had to choose between the impersonal nature of hotels or the lack of privacy in traditional shared homestays.
We wanted to bridge that gap.
Located in the heart of Maninagar, near the beautiful Kankaria Lake, we designed our space to offer the entire first floor exclusively to our guests. This ensures that whether you are an NRI family visiting home or a business traveler, you have your own sanctuary.
Meet Your Host: Ketan Jani
Hospitality is not just a business for me; it is a passion rooted in our culture’s philosophy of “Atithi Devo Bhava” (The Guest is God).
Born and raised right here in Ahmedabad, I hold a degree in Science, which has taught me to value precision and detail. However, my professional journey has taken me to many countries across the globe. Having been an international traveler myself, I personally understand the balance of comfort, safety, and efficiency that guests require when visiting a new country.
At Homeland Stay, I combine that global standard with deep local insight. Whether you need help navigating the bustling textile markets, curating a Heritage Walk of the old city, finding the most authentic Gujarati Thali, or arranging airport transfers, I am here to guide you.
My goal is simple: When you leave Homeland Stay, you shouldn’t feel like you checked out of a hotel, but rather that you are saying goodbye to friends.
